I’m a general paediatric consultant working in a district general hospital. I should have realised I was destined to become a general paediatrician when my first educational supervisor asked me to choose a subspecialty interest and I mentioned more than half of them! I aim to work with the BAGP committee to help develop a hub for general paediatricians to share their views and concerns, coordinate actions and share resources.
